Navusoft Supports Microsoft TEALS Program

While the 2019 - 2020 school year is coming to a sudden end, Navusoft extends a thank you to Microsoft Philanthropies and the McGuffey School District for allowing them to participate in the TEALS program.

Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that connects classroom teachers with tech-industry volunteers to create sustainable CS programs. Volunteers support teachers as they learn to teach CS independently over time.

Navusoft CTO, Brad Sovich, completed the Microsoft certification courses and McGuffey School clearances in order to provide classroom support for the high school computer science program. Brad summarized the experience by stating "McGuffey School District has a great program leader in Vince Schmidt. It was a pleasure to support him and bring a perspective on the real world application of technology to the classroom."
